The City of Albemarle Human Resources Department supports City employees with a variety of personnel services, as well as citywide training programs.
The City proudly offers an excellent benefit program. These benefits range from paid holidays to financial security after retirement, paid medical insurance, and Holiday. With few exceptions, the City either pays the cost of these benefits in their entirety or shares in the cost. Additionally, voluntary programs are available that can be tailored to an individual’s lifestyle.
The City is committed to providing a safe workplace. The Human Resources Department provides administrative support—along with hands-on activities of individual supervisors and departments—to help prevent workplace injuries.
