The Information Systems Department is responsible for working with all City of Albemarle staff to identify, build, and maintain, a safe and effective telecommunications infrastructure.

It’s our mission to efficiently provide services for operational systems and foster communication with the citizens of Albemarle, Stanly County, and the surrounding areas.

This necessitates vigilance in both security awareness and ongoing training to maintain the security of networks and information systems.

Additionally, the Information Systems Department provides technical support in multiple locations to all divisions and departments in the City. This support includes:
