Public Comment Policy
On September 6, 2022, City Council adopted a public comment policy for City Council meetings. Any person who wishes to address the Council during the Public Comment Period must register on the sign-up sheet located in the main lobby of the City Hall complex up to 30 minutes before the start of the meeting by listing his/her name, address and comment topic(s). Speakers will be called on in the order in which the names appear on the sign-up sheet.
Speakers will be requested to discuss only the topic(s) they specified on the sign-up sheet. It is important to note that any speaker wishing to address City Council may only do so during the public comment period called by the Mayor. Council reserves the right to impose time restrictions for speakers in order to promote the efficient disposition of City business. View the complete public comment policy by clicking here.
