Join Us for Albemarle's Christmas Celebrations!

The City of Albemarle is excited to host TWO festive events to get you in the holiday spirit!

An Albemarle Downtown Christmas - Friday, December 6, 5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. 

Kick off the holiday season with the lighting of the Christmas tree at City Hall at 5:30 p.m.! Bring your family and friends to enjoy fun activities for kids, including hayrides, face painting, crafts, and of course, a visit with Santa at Courthouse Square Park!

Plus, enjoy food trucks, street vendors, and our local downtown shops with special extended hours make it the perfect night for holiday shopping and fun!

Albemarle Christmas Parade - Saturday, December 14, 4 p.m.

Experience the magic of the holidays as the Christmas Parade winds through the streets of downtown Albemarle. Featuring festive floats, local groups, and more, it’s an event you won’t want to miss! The parade lasts until about 5:30 p.m.
