Albemarle Parks and Recreation operates and maintains 300 acres of park land shared between six different parks.

From outdoors activities like fishing and kayaking to sports fields, playgrounds, pools, and learning programs, the City of Albemarle offers unlimited recreation opportunities.

Additionally, Parks and Recreation maintains two fully equipped indoor facilities with modern amenities, the Niven Center and the EE Waddell Community Center.
