Turn On/Transfer Electric or Water/Sewer Services

Service can be established either via email & phone or in person at the Customer Service Counter in City Hall at 144 N Second Street, Albemarle, NC. The main parking area entrance is from N Third Street.

You will need one of the following:

• A North Carolina driver's license
• Another state's driver’s license
• A Government issued picture ID

If you are leasing, you will need your lease agreement, completed with:

• Signatures of landlord and occupant
• Dates of occupancy
• Listing of everyone who will be living at the residence

Deposit and Tax Info

Any required deposits must be paid before service can be put into customers name. Social Security Number is required for tax verification purposes.
