Held each year in the Spring, Uwharrie Senior Games offers competition in a wide variety of sports, events, and the arts. To be eligible to participate, individuals must:
- Be 50 years of age or older on or before December 31 of each year
- Be a resident of Stanly or Montgomery County, or not compete in the same events in any other local games
- Be a resident of NC (minimum 3 consecutive months annually)
- Live in a County where an event is not offered
- Not compete in the same event in any local games in the same year
The Uwharrie Senior Games' mission is to promote independence and healthy lifestyles for active adults ages 50 or better through education, fitness, arts, and the spirit of competition, while inspiring everyone to embrace health and appreciate and enjoy the value of fun, fitness, and fellowship.
